Cholla is a cactus found in the desert SW and Northern Mexico. After several years, old wood naturally dies and can be removed from the plants. After an intensive cleaning and removal of the thorns, we are left with a unique product that is great for displaying air plants.
Our cholla fits most of our small and medium tillandsia. Our favorite pairings include Abdita, Harrisii, Velutina, Caput Medusae, Argentea and Ionantha Guatemala.

Why Our Designer, Sherri, Chose It
“A taller cholla-wood container is a sculptural, open-wood vessel for an air plant. I set it where its organic form can stand a little taller among books and objects.”
