When will my order ship?
Because we value quality over the secular "hustle" of big-box retail, shipping times vary based on the item’s origin.
Self-Fulfilled Treasures: Items from our curated warehouse typically ship within 3–5 business days.
Artisan Dropship & Furniture: For larger furniture items like sofa’s, chairs, tables, sideboards, beds, etc, lead times are listed on the individual product pages. These pieces often require a "journey of intentionality" from the maker to your home.
Tracking Your Items: Once your order is ready to make its debut, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Can I cancel my order?
Our mission is to help you bring in only what you need and nothing more. Because our fulfillment system is highly integrated to ensure efficiency:
The Window of Intentionality: You may request a cancellation within 24 hours of placing your order.
After 24 Hours: Once an order moves into the fulfillment stage—either at our warehouse or with our artisan partners—it is considered "committed" and cannot be canceled. If you realize the piece isn't right for your sanctuary, you may begin a return once it arrives.
Custom & Final Sale: Please note that custom-ordered pieces and items from our "Final Sale" section cannot be canceled once the order is placed.
How do I return my order?
If a piece does not serve its purpose or bring peace to your home, we welcome a return to ensure you only keep what is essential.
Initiate with Grace: Email us at hello@mimiandbrooks.com within 14 days of delivery to start the process. Please include your order number and the reason the piece isn't a fit for your home.
The Standard of Condition: To honor the next steward of the piece, items must be returned in their original, pristine condition and packaging.
Shipping Your Return: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit back to us.
The Blessing of a Refund: Once our team inspects the item and confirms it meets the Designer’s Standard, a refund (minus original shipping costs) will be issued to your original payment method.
